The ultimate death match between plants and zombies, set in a garden!

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is the third iteration of the hugely popular Plants Vs Zombies multiplayer, third person shooter tower and defense game developed by Pop Cap Games. This version features the same characters as its predecessors, rendering them in visually impressive 3 dimensional cartoon like representations.

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare exists as an online multiplayer offering two principal modes: Garden Ops and Multiplayer. Garden Ops closely resembles the original game in which the plant protagonist battles hordes of invading zombies. Plant characters include Peashooter, Chomper, Sunflower and Cactus. The Zombie opponents include rank and file foot soldiers, engineers, scientists and powerful all star zombies. The fifth and tenth waves of characters features boss waves and a Super Boss as an added challenge.

The multiplayer is a defensive game, in which an area is protected from attacks from the undead. The multiplayer mode offers two different games, Gardens & Graveyards and Team Vanquish. These games pit two teams of twelve against each other, in Gardens & Graveyards the plants are defending strategic locations against zombie incursions, in Team Vanquish victory is attained by being the first to kill fifty opponents. New players can cut their teeth in a modified version of Team Vanquish called "Welcome Mat". This simplified version features one map, no unlocked characters and no customized elements. There is a sub mode of Team Vanquish called "Vanquish Confirmed" which is similar to the "kill confirmed" mode from the iconic shooter "Call of Duty".

Variety is offered through the mixed mode. Mixed Mode uses each mode interchangeably, in which the player switches from zombies to plants. Humor and a sense of the farcical is added through the "Gnome Bomb" mode where players attempt to destroy zombies and their bases by hurling bombs strapped to the back of an unfortunate garden gnome.

The game features four classes of plant and a multiplicity of zombie opponents. Each character boasts a portfolio of well balanced special skills, and three unlockable special moves for later levels. Each challenge that is overcome enables the player to access character and weapons upgrades, weapon skins and character clothing.

In conclusion, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is great fun to play and extremely entertaining.
